Minibus

The CLASP minibus is owned by the Charity and is operated by a team of MiDAS trained volunteer drivers, all of who have been DBS checked.

The minibus is used regularly for the transport of attendees of the Wednesday Lunch Club and by other local charitable or voluntary groups. These include the Weekly Shopping Trip to Haverhill, alternating between two supermarkets. The Stoke by Clare Good Neighbours normally arrange outings once a month during the spring, summer and autumn seasons. Other organisations including Clare Walkers, Sudbury Ramblers, Hundon Gardening Club and other local groups have hired the minibus for their various outings. One regular annual usage is assisting with the Clare Priory Craft Fair Park + Ride scheme, normally held in July.

The minibus is available for hire by any local voluntary or charitable group at a very modest rate, but it has to be driven by one of our team of volunteer drivers.
